Molecular Weight

The mass of one molecule of a compound.

Molecular weight (or molar mass, in g/mol) is the summed atomic mass of all atoms in a molecule. For peptides it is calculated from the sequence and any modifications, and it is essential for reconstitution math when converting a lyophilized mass to a molar concentration.
