Amino-Acid Sequence
The ordered list of residues in a peptide.
The amino-acid sequence is the linear order of residues in a peptide, written from the N-terminus to the C-terminus. Sequence determines molecular weight, folding, and receptor specificity, and is the primary identity descriptor on a certificate of analysis.
