Peptide glossary
Molecular Formula
The atom count of a molecule.
A molecular formula lists the number of each type of atom in a molecule (e.g., C, H, N, O, S). It complements molecular weight as a compact identity descriptor used in analytical characterization.
For in-vitro laboratory research use only. Not for human or animal consumption. Not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
