Protein
A large folded amino-acid polymer.
A protein is a large biomolecule made of one or more long amino-acid chains (typically more than ~50 residues) that fold into defined three-dimensional structures. The size and folding distinction is the main practical line drawn between a protein and a shorter peptide.
