Pituitary Somatotroph
The GH-producing pituitary cell.
Somatotrophs are anterior-pituitary cells that synthesize and secrete growth hormone. They express GHRH and ghrelin (GHS-R1a) receptors, making them the cellular target of secretagogue research.
For in-vitro laboratory research use only. Not for human or animal consumption. Not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
