GHRP (Growth Hormone Releasing Peptide)

A ghrelin-receptor agonist peptide.

Growth-hormone-releasing peptides act on the GHS-R1a (ghrelin) receptor - a different system from GHRH analogs. GHRPs such as GHRP-2 and GHRP-6 are studied for their effect on growth-hormone pulse amplitude and are often examined alongside GHRH analogs for synergy.
