Agonist
A molecule that activates a receptor.
An agonist is a ligand that binds a receptor and triggers its signaling response. Many research peptides are receptor agonists; the degree and selectivity of activation (full, partial, or biased) shapes the downstream pathway studied.
For in-vitro laboratory research use only. Not for human or animal consumption. Not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
